The lifestyle in Poland is different from Spain. The organization of the day is devoted to seize the day completely. There is no nap. The shops stay open during the noon from 10 am to 18, and supermarkets to 19,20, 21 or 22h. Neither made a stop to eat with the family, but they eat something and keep working. Only on the weekends is when the family gathers. The lunch stop is made on the 1 p.m. and dinner around 8 p.m. o'clock.
The food, cleaning, etc.., are considerably cheaper than in Spain. In terms of prices of clothing and other services still I do not know, but I know that the big brands of clothing have the same price as in Spain. This afternoon I'm going to buy some shoes and I'll tell you!
The price of drinks in bars are also quite cheap. A beer costs about a euro or less. 1 euro is about 4 zlotys. For though Poland is a member of the European Union, still have their own currency.
As to the character of the people I thought it was more closed and cold and it is not. They are right people, polite and friendly. It has not been difficult to integrate with people and meet people you can go for a walk, talk, go out dancing ... also they greatly appreciate Spanish people, love our language and our culture. They are keen to learn Spanish and that is great for me. I think I do not come back to Spain ... hahaha, here I am very well! But as my mate Sandro, I have to wait for the winter ... -20 º or -27 º! Will I survive??
The language is really difficult, but slowly I am getting used. I know the basic expressions but I am willing to learn well polish to be able to communicate with people, because here, most people can not speak English. So ... let's go to learn Polish!
Finally I want to tell you about children: they are so gorgeous! And really lovely, they seem taken from television advertisements!
Definitely, I love Glogów!!
