This week, I was in Kłoda and Kromolin. In Kłoda, we did a lot of activities: first, we made hearts with Origami technique, we did it because was the day of grandmother and grandfather in Poland, and it was a very nice present for them; then, i was painting the faces of kids: Spiderman, butterflies, dogs, tigers...I love paint the face of kids!! And they are so happy for this!! At last, kids made a Christmas tree with "pasta", really nice. And about pasta, I have never tried before, we ate pasta with sugar!! What an invention! hehehe. It was a very nice evening. Thank you very much!!

KIDS

I think I am still a child ... I am a woman, I am 28 years old but in many aspects of my life I act, talk and think like a little girl. Some people will find it immature, childish ... but I love my inner child: the wayward child, whiny, hungry for affection, funny and crazy. Perhaps this is why I love to enjoy time with kids. Because, sometimes, they understand you better than any adult. People say that children are cruel. I think it is not true, children are sincere and truth, many times, is cruel and painful. But it is much better to surround yourself with honest people that with fake and interested people, do not you think so? I love the purity of a child's eyes, their smiles full of happyness, even if they are not really happy. I have learn a lot of about them. They think they are able to do everything they want, for them there is nothing impossible! Because they use something that adults have lost: imagination. I love their curiosity, their energy to try anything, to learn all the time and their capacity to enjoy the live with simple things. Because of this I have decide when I grow up I want to be a kid.

STO LAT ANDZELA!

Last Thursday, I went with Monika to Czerna. We celebrated the birthday of one of the girls: ANDZELA. Naturally, we celebrated it with a delicious cake and champagne for children and we gave gifts to her. Then, we played a game that is very popular here, like Monopoly: Eurobizness. (or something similar). After that, two girls prepared a mini show for ANDZELA. Very funny! Finally, we assemble a puzzle of 260 pieces! Great, girls! Again, thanks for everything! Happy Birthday, ANDZELA!

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF EVS?

In recent days, I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be EVS (European Voluntary Service). I know some cases where volunteers do not know or do not want to take this opportunity. I know it depends on the personality of each person and my experience certainly is not like any other. But I think being EVS has features that are the same for everyone.

What does being EVS?

First, make a European volunteering is not going on holiday to another country. I think there are many people who are wrong in this regard. There are not a paid vacation. EVS will be means, effort, motivation, curiosity, teamwork, communication, responsibility. When you do a project like this, you must be like a newborn and see life like never before! You can change your life, partially or completely, as I do. It means open your mind and grow as a good person and a good professional.

Through this project, I can say I have found my place in the world. And the most important, I found myself. I think everyone should make at least once in life, a project of this type, long or short. And above all, make the time. It is a shame that there are people who choose to do this activity and do not know how to maximize the time.

Message for future EVS:

Never say "no" to new experiences, live to the fullest and learn as much as you can, because this is an adventure that you must not miss. EVS changes your life but it depends on you. Be happy my friends!! ;)

SNOW, ORIGAMI AND SPANISH LESSONS!!

Yesterday, when we woke up, we found snow everywhere! It was a pleasant surprise because we did not expect it. I did not want snow but when I saw everywhere with snow and so beautiful, I was very happy! I felt like a little girl! All morning I was thinking about playing in the snow! hahaha. In the afternoon, as every Wednesday, I went to Bukwica with Monika. And there, at last, I could play with the kids in the snow. They had no mercy with me! They threw balls to me nonstop! It was very funny. Then, we practice a little "Origami". We made animal figures that were very funny. Later, Spanish lesson! They put great interest! Another great day in Poland! Thank you all!!
