FIVE WEEKS...

Today I stopped to think that my project will end in five weeks ... OMG ! just five weeks ! I am in Glogów since August last year and it was like it was yesterday ! Yeah ... how time flies ... ! I am nervous because I do not know how it is going to be my future. I only have clear that on 31th of March I will go to Spain to visit my family, my friends and organize my new life ... in Poland. As I told you , I already have my return ticket to back. I am sure, I will stay here in Glogów , and although things will not be as easy as now, I will try to do my best to keep my happiness. Because Poland means "happiness" to me, this is my place right now . Recently, I was disappointed with some situations in my life . Well, this is part of it too . Some people who were part of my life , come and go and this drive me crazy ... Sometimes I also think I am wrong thinking right about some people when the reality is that they want to take advantage of me . Just I want to be happy and make people happy . I do not understand why people behave like that ... I know some people show interest in me at the beginning, because I am Spanish , but they put barriers because of the language. It is easier to say "  I do not understand you" and that´s it , to try to understand or try to communicate with me. Because, my dear friends, if you want to talk to someone, even if you do not understand the language you do everything for it. But , well, I can not force anyone to be interested of me . But I study and work hard to be understood and to be a good partner , good friend, good worker ... It is not about the language. This is one of many things I have learned here . I learned many things, including such things even though I would not be able to do. I am so motivated, eager to keep learning, keep working. Also, now I started to train hard, because I want to improve myself and feel good and healthy. I have a lot of energy so I have to spend it! My conclusion may be that I am very happy , I have problems like everyone else , I have sad days , but most of my days are amazing, I am surrounded by great people and I give thanks that I feel loved. I am worry about my future , but I know everything will be fine. I have to believe in myself and work hard , fight for my dreams . I get excited just thinking about how much my life has changed thanks to all of you! I have no life to thank you! I would like to keep you in my life, because you are my family here. No more words, just  thank you, thank you, thank you!

CZERNA: BARDZO FAJNE BYŁO!!

Y seguimos trabajando! Gracias chicas!

FERIA IN SZANSA!!

¡Muchas gracias!

ONE BILLION RISING EVENT IN GLOGÓW BY SZANSA!!

And at last, on 14th of February, we dance in front of townhall for One Billion Rising. I want to remember you that this day, a million of people from all over the world were dancing for fight against violence to women. Also, here, in Glogów, Szansa organized this event to take part in this cause. And it was really a success!! More than a half of hundred people danced and expressed their compromise to fight against violence to women. Here you can watch it, because it is better to explain with images than with words what we did and we felt!! We appeared in newspaper, in local TV...Thanks a lot to everybody!! We are the best!!

SIX MONTHS IN POLAND AND MORE!!

My life in Poland remains a whirlwind of emotions and feelings. I have been here for six months already and my love for this country has not changed. And today i am even more happy than always because I booked my return tickets. It means that I will go to Spain, stay with my family and friends and then, I will come back!! My dream of living here will come true!! Of course, I have to thanks to a lot of people here who is helping me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Well, the first part of my post is not new...all of you already know that I am really happy here. But today I want to talk also about my group of Spanish lessons in Szansa. They are really amazing! I have two groups: one formed with kids who already know Spanish because they were born in Spain or were living there; and the second group with kids who start to learn Spanish. Yesterday, I had a very nice surprise. One of the kids from the first group gave me a song wrote for her dedicate to me. I almost cried... It was really lovely! Always in my classes I try to play games, watch videos, shorts movies, listen music with kids. I think this is the best way to teach something to them. And also, I give them some sweets during the lessons, so they put more interest!! Sometimes it is hard work, because they are tired and bored so you have to try new things all the time. But at last, it worth!! I am really satisfied with these kids.

I have to talk also about a meeting we had last week with Russian people. Two boys from this country come to Szansa and we showed them the building and what we do in our organization. I prepared for this occasion, a Powerpoint about my EVS here and I think they liked a lot! They were so interested about us and they were warm and close. Was really nice meeting because the differences between Poland and Russia are big, and we could discuss about it and take interesting conclusions.

So many and interesting activities happen everyday...I give thanks every night because of this, because i am happy and I am living the life I have always dreamed!!
