"SPANISH EVENING" & "ANDRZEJKI" IN KROMOLIN (Dolina Miłości) 29.11.13

Last Friday, we celebrated in Kromolin the "Spanish Evening". In addition, we also celebrate St. Andrews, whose feast is important here in Poland. On this day, there is a tradition in which you can meet your future. "Andrzejki" (St. Andrews) fortune telling is mostly for young unmarried ladies . In the past, searching for a husband was for Polish girls most important task, so some St. Andrew's Eve rituals predict which female in the household will get married next or help to describe the man they will marry . Animals , shoes, and have been wax used in the past to foretell marriage. The wax method of divination is still popular : wax melted, cooled in a bowl of water, is held up to a light to produce a shadow. The shadow is interpreted and the diviner is supposed to learn information about the future her through the shadow produced by the melted wax. In a like way, the shadow of burning paper can be used to predict Also something about the future .

This party also prepared the children dancing and very funny theater. I danced with girls salsa choreography and I sang, very nervous , the song " Lucía" (Serrat), a very nice and famous song from Spain . I think people liked it! Finally, I prepared omelette for attendees and "Russian salad". It was a fun afternoon. Thanks to Dolina Miłości,  children and attendees for making it possible!
